Hardware

Inventory of platforms and display integrations your company owns, plus custom SoM requests and evaluation tuning.

What Hardware is for

Hardware (/hardware) shows what your company already owns and lets you manage evaluation display settings. New orders go through Shop; the read-only summary is under Licenses.

Area Purpose
Licenses Read-only overview of all entitlements.
Hardware Owned platforms and displays; edit evaluation porch timings; request custom SoM.
Shop Request new licenses, upgrades, and maintenance.

Your platforms

Lists every platform license with status, tier (evaluation or commercial), and validity. Catalog platforms are ordered in Shop.

Your display integrations

Lists all screen licenses (display integrations). Each row is one panel configuration: interface, resolution, display path, tier, and approved platforms.

For each active integration you see Porch timings (boot config / VPS):

  • Evaluation — you can edit porch timings here while developing. Values are used by boot configs and the VPS builder.
  • Commercial — porch timings are locked. They were fixed when the integration went to production. Contact GraphLab for changes.

Evaluation integrations also show an Upgrade to commercial link (same flow as Shop → Display upgrade).

Porch timings

Porch timings (HFP, HSYNC, HBP, VFP, VSYNC, VBP, PCLK) define the panel timing profile embedded in initstub.bin. They live on the display integration, not in the boot config editor.

Tier Who can edit porch timings
Evaluation (development) Your team — under Hardware on each active display integration.
Commercial (production) GraphLab only (super-admin). Your team sees read-only values.

Before upgrading to commercial, finalize porch timings under Hardware. The upgrade page in Shop explains that settings become fixed after approval.

Request custom SoM

If your processor is not in the Shop catalog, open Hardware → Request platform and submit SoM details. GraphLab will contact you about platform enablement. Display/panel fields are not required on this form — order display integrations in Shop after the platform is active.

Typical Hardware workflow

  1. Order platform and display in Shop.
  2. After GraphLab activates integrations, confirm them under Hardware.
  3. During evaluation, tune porch timings on the display integration until the panel is stable.
  4. Create boot configs and assign groups (see Boot Config Editor).
  5. When ready for production, upgrade display (and platform) in Shop — configuration is kept and locked.
