Shop
Request-only ordering for device licenses, platform enablement, display integrations, and software maintenance.
What Shop is for
Shop is where your company requests new entitlements and upgrades. It is separate from Licenses (read-only inventory) and Hardware (owned inventory + custom SoM requests).
- Shop = submit license requests; platform evaluation starts immediately for 30 days and expires automatically.
- Licenses = see what you already own (status, tier, maintenance).
- Hardware = owned platforms/displays; tune evaluation porch timings; request non-catalog SoM.
Shop layout
/shop uses a two-column layout: a category sidebar (All products, Devices, Platforms, Display, Maintenance)
and product cards on the right. Filter with ?category= or open a product detail page directly.
| Product | URL | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Device licenses | /shop/device (listing)/shop/device/standard — GraphLab Boot/shop/device/development — GraphLab Boot - Development |
Request device license slots for your company pool. Each product has its own request page. |
| Platform licenses | /shop?category=platforms |
Browse catalog SoMs. Each card opens a platform detail page. |
| Platform detail | /shop/platforms/{platform} |
Start evaluation (30 days, free trial — expires automatically) or Request commercial (pending GraphLab review). Upgrade an active evaluation platform to commercial from the same page. |
| Display integration | /shop/display |
Order a new screen license when panel specs are known (repeatable). |
| Display + validation | /shop/display-validation |
Customer sends hardware; GraphLab integrates and validates the panel, then activates a commercial screen license. Stored with includes validation on the display integration. |
| Display upgrade | /shop/display/{id}/upgrade |
Upgrade an owned evaluation display integration to commercial (configuration kept, then locked). |
| Software maintenance | /shop/maintenance |
Request renewal for commercial platform licenses. |
| Request history | /shop/requests |
Submitted device license requests from Shop. |
Platform tiers
| Tier | Shop action | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Evaluation (development) | Start evaluation on platform detail | Active for 30 days, then expires automatically. GraphLab admin can extend. After expiry the license cannot be used. |
| Commercial (production) | Request commercial, or upgrade from evaluation | Pending until GraphLab approves. Once active, the platform license does not expire. |
Display integration orders
- Ensure an active platform license exists for each SoM you include.
- Open Shop → Display integration and choose evaluation or commercial tier.
- Enter panel name, interface, resolution, refresh, and compatible platforms (only licensed SoMs are selectable).
- Submit — GraphLab reviews and activates the integration.
Each order creates a new display integration row. You can own many screen licenses for different panels.
Upgrade display to commercial
Evaluation display integrations appear as upgrade cards in Shop (Display category). The upgrade page shows your full configuration (interface, resolution, porch timings) and explains that after commercial approval:
- Panel settings are copied as-is to production.
- Porch timings and display settings can no longer be changed by your team.
- While still on evaluation, tune porch timings under Hardware before submitting the upgrade.
Custom SoM (not in Shop)
Processors outside the catalog are not Shop products. Use Hardware → Request platform for custom SoM enablement.
Typical Shop workflow
- Shop — buy platform evaluation (or request commercial).
- Shop — order display integration(s) for that platform.
- Hardware — tune porch timings during evaluation if needed.
- Projects / Groups — bind platform + display; create boot configs.
- Shop — upgrade platform and display to commercial when going to production.
- Shop — renew software maintenance for commercial platforms.
